The UK Government has temporarily imposed limitations on working practices which have impinged upon MuPrint Ltd. Our ability to fulfil online orders may be restricted: they may not be fulfilled in the time period specified on your order however when we receive your order, we will complete it as soon as is practicable.
We recommend artwork with a resolution of 300 to 600 pixels per inch (or dpi). PDF files are recommended especially if you have small text on the card as this will help them to be printed as sharp as possible. N.B. If saving as a PDF from Photoshop, do not flatten it and make sure the Save Layers option is ticked.
You can also supply artwork in many different formats e.g. EPS, PSD, TIFF, JPEG. If JPEG, save with the highest possible quality setting.
For cards with a white border: For best results, ensure all text/graphics are at least 3mm away from the edge. If artwork is a different size/proportion then we will adjust the white border accordingly. There is a Photoshop template at the bottom of the page.
For cards printed to the edge: Artwork must be the finished size of the card plus at least a 3mm bleed on each of the 4 sides This means that the artwork must be 91mm x 61mm.
The bleed is an extension of the background image or any elements of the design that go right up to the edge of the card. If there wasn’t a bleed then there is a possibility that unsightly white bits may appear on the finished cards. The bleed will be cut off after printing. More information about how you should make artwork with a bleed can be found here. There is a Photoshop template at the bottom of the page.
Ensure all text/graphics are at least 3mm inside the finished edge. If artwork does not conform with the specifications then additional charges may apply or, in some circumstances we may not be able to print the cards at all.

In general, the prices shown for quantities of leaflets, posters, booklets, business cards etc. apply only if they are all the same design.
Flyers are normally zero rated for VAT so the price you see is the price you pay. However, some things can make a flyer liable for VAT at 20% e.g. a voucher, a form, a map, a ticket, an invitation.
If your flyer includes one of these then we must add VAT to the price. Even something like “10% off with this flyer” for example would effectively make it a voucher.
Please be aware of this and until the final check is made on your artwork before printing, any quote we give you will be subject to standard rate VAT on those items that we are obliged to apply VAT by law.

We will start your print job within the number of working days shown. For example, if you ordered a job within ‘three days’ then we guarantee we will start your job within three working days from the day of your order. We will aim to complete the job within three working days from the day of your order too, subject to workflow. Wherever ‘days’ or ‘hours’ are mentioned in the context of Turnaround Times, we mean ‘Monday-Friday working days’.
The day that the order is placed does not count as day 1 so, for example, an order placed on Monday on the 3 day service will be ready by Thursday.
The number of days are our standard working days i.e. Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm only. Bank Holidays are excluded. Any special weekend openings are also excluded. Orders received close to or after closing time will be processed on the next working day.
For Same Day/24 Hours orders, we will print your order as soon as possible – on the same day if we can – and we aim to complete this within 24 hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). Note that this is subject to our workload at the time that you place the order and might take longer during busy periods.
We will confirm the last possible completion date once the order has been accepted, subject to suitable artwork being provided. If artwork is not suitable for printing or is changed or requires alteration, then this will delay completion
Orders being posted out are usually sent on an overnight service. This means your delivery will require at least 1-2 additional days after the printing has been completed. Please contact MuPrint directly on 0161 868 0977 if you require a same day courier delivery.
PLEASE NOTE: For certain larger package dimensions, delivery options can be limited. If the delivery method you have chosen in an online order is not available, MuPrint will choose an appropriate alternative form of delivery for you. MuPrint will make every effort to deliver your package by your chosen time.
The £10 delivery to University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University is done by us directly in person and is subject to availability. This delivery service is only for the campuses at Oxford Road and Sackville Street, and to the MMU Brooks Building. This service does not include Nazarene Theological College in Didsbury.
For delivery outside the UK, please contact MuPrint for pricing.
